Tool for recalculating Project and Project Item total values information

It can happen that totals information on the tab Financial of a Project and Project Item is not up-to-date. This could for example occur after the Sdk Message Processing Steps in Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Assistance PSA Suite plugins were temporarily disabled.
To recalculate all Project Item and Project totals (or of a selection of Projects), you should download and run this program (an instruction and explanation is included): Update Project Item Totals

Update PSA 2016 records

As part of the upgrade to Assistance PSA 2016 records of some entities are updated in the background. In the case that the update of the records takes too long, users might get a time-out error when working in Assistance PSA.
To fix time-out errors after upgrading to Assistance PSA 2016 your CRM System Administrator should run this program: UpdatePSA2016records.exe

Microsoft Silverlight no longer supported in Google Chrome

As from version 45, the browser Google Chrome has stopped Silverlight support. In Assistance PSA 2015 the following components are still running on Silverlight:

  • Create Invoice from a project
  • Batch Invoicing
  • Expense Claims
  • Group Calendar

Create Invoice from a project and Batch Invoicing are HTML5 components as from Assistance PSA 2016.

Microsoft Silverlight not supported in Edge browser of Windows 10

If you have upgraded to Windows 10, we recommend to use Assistance PSA with the internet browser Mozilla Firefox for invoicing.

In Assistance PSA 2015 the following components are still running on Silverlight:

  • Create Invoice from a project
  • Batch Invoicing
  • Expense Claims
  • Group Calendar
  • Create Series (of Booking Periods) will be a HTML5 component as from the Assistance PSA 2015 Summer Release

Microsoft Silverlight plugin disabled in Google Chrome browser

As from version 42, the browser Google Chrome disables the Microsoft Silverlight plugin by default. In Assistance PSA 2015 the following components are still running on Silverlight:

  • Create Invoice from a project
  • Batch Invoicing
  • Expense Claims
  • Group Calendar
  • Create Series (of Booking Periods) will be a HTML5 component as from the Assistance PSA 2015 Summer Release

So if you work with Assistance PSA in Google Chrome 42 or higher, you need to enable the Silverlight plugin again. Read here how you do this: Enable Silverlight plugin in Google Chrome
