All aboard for the launch of the Assistance PSA Suite 2016!
To provide our users with the best experience possible, Assistance Software is always focused on developing Solutions that are innovative and built on state-of-the-art technology. In the previous version we started to phase out all the Silverlight components and replacing them with HTML 5 (Java Script) components. In the PSA Suite 2016 we are taking this process further still and the result is a fast, easy, multi platform & multi browser solution. Of course this is not the only thing that is new with the PSA Suite 2016, there are numerous new functionalities of which the highlights are displayed on this page. Let us introduce you to the Assistance PSA Suite 2016 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM, the solution for professional service organizations that are looking ahead.
What’s new in the Assistance PSA Suite 2016?
Here are some of the highlights of the new PSA Suite release:
Filter resources based hour type, availability and/ or skills
Assistance PSA Suite 2016 will allow you to search for Resources (Employees) in the Project Item Activity, with the following filters:
– Legal Entity to which the Employee belongs
– Region to which the Employee belongs
– Associated Hour Type of the Employee
– Availability of the Employee
– The Employee Skills with their level, maintained in Assistance HRM
The result of the filter (the found Resources) is displayed in Resources. You can select the Resources of your choice here. Each time you change the hour type, availability and/ or skills for a resource the results are automatically updated.
Create appointment from Project Item Activity
Also new is the possibility to create a CRM Appointment for the Project Item Activity in your CRM Calendar. Employees that use the Outlook Client for Microsoft Dynamics CRM can synchronize the CRM Appointments created by the Gantt Chart with their Outlook Calendar and other employee’s Calendars.
Copy Project Template
In PSA Settings, Project Templates, the option Copy Template in the ribbon allows you to create a copy of a Project Template.
The biggest change in Invoicing is the redevelopment of all the major Silverlight components and replacing them with HTML 5 (Java Script) components. Thanks to the switch to HTML5 Invoicing is easy accessible and available in any browser.
You can now also automatically split a created Invoice (amount) in 2 or more Invoices. You can add new Invoice split percentages per account, for example 70 % is invoiced to ‘Client A’ and 30 % to ‘Adventure Works’. The Invoice is created in the normal way. Assistance PSA will create 2 Invoices, one for each account.
